Dental Extraction is removal of the teeth from the Dental Socket ( Bone ). Extraction performed for a wide variety of reasons like decayed tooth, dental trauma, gums desease, wisdom teeth etc. If a Tooth buried in the bone a surgical prosedure may be required which involved cutting the gum away and removal of the bone which holding the tooth in with a surgical drill.
Tooth Extraction is usually performed by using local anesthetic Injections to eliminate the painful sensation but macanical forces are still felt.
Immediately after the tooth is removed a bite pack is used to apply pressure to the extraction site the stop the bleeding.
